Day 9 Great weather for hills
My walk30 was a breeze today because Thursdays mean Walk on Strong workshops. The Intro and the Personal Best groups met at our house and we all headed for the hills. We talked about why hills are something that you should add to every week's training schedule. They challenge the body's cardiovascular system to the max and your muscles will grow stronger faster if you are charging up those hills on a regular basis. We did six hill repeats and we were all toasty warm heading back ... that's for sure!
Find a hill near your home and make that hill your walk30 once a week and you will notice a big difference in your strength and your endurance over time .. guaranteed!
