Day 23 K W Walking Classic a sunny success!
Well the day is finally here ... for Dave and I it started at about 4:45 a.m. when the alarm went off and Dave was out of bed and ready to go. I arrived at 5:45 a.m. and we were ready to set up Race Day.I will give you a longer report tomorrow but the bottom line was that it was an amazing event and I think that everyone went away with a feeling that they were supporting something very innovative and at the same time personal. I know that we must have raised enough to purchase a lot of shoes ... it will be few weeks before we have any real idea but it felt bigger and better than last year!
More details tomorrow ... but I want to say thank you to all of the amazing Teams, individuals and volunteers that came today and made it such a success.
I also want to say thank you to the weatherman ... you came through at the last minute!!

Thanks Peg! It was a great day ... now we are feeling like a good long rest would be a great idea .. we also had a great Team Lewis representation ... pictures will be coming soon!
