A good way to begin training would be to simply walk for 30 minutes a day and by the end of the week you will have walked a 1/2 Marathon ... 21 K! Today my walk was divided into 2 shorter walks and then a vigorous session of snow shoveling! It is almost midnight so I had better sign off.
